This stream photo was taken down from the Pohuehue Falls, north of Auckland. The trick here was clambering down the steep banks to the rocks that formed the steps of this photo.
I photographed this as a long exposure, using an ND filter.

(The photo predates the rahui in the Waitekere ranges and other Auckland forest reserves, leading to many track closures).
