This was taken on one of my first hikes down the Pararaha Stream. My eventual goal was to photograph the waterfall, but the rahui in the Waitakere Ranges ended that plan. This is definitely not one of the tracks that is open, as it is rugged and for experienced hikers only.

I liked this scene as in the background, you can see the water dropping down through some more rocks. But the primary interest is the passage through these rocks. and of course, all the native forest around me.
